Be amal dil ho to jazbaat se kya hota hai
dharti banjar ho to barsaat se kya hota hai
hai amal lazim takmeele tamanna ke liye
warna rangeen khayalat se kya hota hai

Hum dono ke beech me hayal sagar tha tanhai ka
mai bhi ek jazeera hoon aur woh bhi ek jazeera tha
waqt badal jaye to sehba waqt ko akhir badle kaun
ab woh mera sannata hai kal jo mera naghma tha



(3)

Yun to kehne ko nahi koi bhi rishta tujh se
jitni ummiden hain wabasta hain tanha tujhse
ye alag baat tujhe toot ke chaha lekin
dile bemaya ne kuch bhi nahi chaha tujhse
