Tumhein jab kabhi milen fursatain, mere dil se bhoj utar do
Mein bahut dinon se udaas hun, mujhe koi shaam udhaar do
Mujhe apnay roop ki dhoop do, ke chamak sakain mere khaal-o-khad
Mujhe apnay rang mein rang do, meray saray zang utar do

Ansu bahao, khoob bahao magar yeh
soch kar nahin ke humari khawahishaat
puri nahin hoti'n. (Hazrat Da'ud aleihisalam)
