بہت ہی اعلٰی انتخاب
یہ میری پسندیدہ نظموں میں سے ایک ہے
اور یہ امتِ مسلمہ کا وہ پیغام ہے، جو ہم بھلا چکے ہیں اور اب خوار ہو رہے ہیں۔ یعنی کیا ہے توُ نے متاع ِ غرور کا سودا
فریبِ سودو زیاں، لا الہ الااللہ
اور یہ بھی کہ۔۔۔ وہ زمانے میں معزز کے مسلمان ہو کر
اور تم خوار ہوئے تارکِ قرآں ہو کر
