hain sitarey sar ba-sajda terey paay naznee.n per!
mah_o aftaab qurbaa.n hain jamaal_e dil-nashee.n per!
hay bahar_e khuld sadqey terey ro_e yasmee.n per!

tera dill figaar kiyu hay?
tujhey mujh sey piyaar kiyu hay?

chaman_e jahaa.n main misl_e gull_e dagh-daar hoon main
k bahaar_e um'r_e rafta ka alam gusaar hoon main
tu hay rashk_e guncha_o gull, to misaal_e khaar hoon main

tu raheen_e khaar kiyu hay?
tujhey mujh sey piyaar kiyu hay?

terey ghum ko naz'r kiya doon k ganwa chuka jawaani
kisi aur aastaa.n per main mita chuka jawaani
main bhula chuka mohabbat, main luta chuka jawaani

tu galey ka haar kiyu hay?
tujhey mujh sey piyaar kiyu hay?

main nisaar kar chuka hoon hawas_e butaa.n pe um'rain
isi dhun main sarf kar di hain dar mughaa.n pe um'rain
karoo.n naz'r ab kaha.n sey terey aastaa.n pe um'rain

tu yoon sofwaar kiyu hay?
tujhey mujh sey piyaar kiyu hay?

mujhe kiya khaber thi ik din tujhey mujh sey piyaar ho ga?
meri aarzo main jeena tujhey nagawaar ho ga!
meri ghum nigariyoo.n per, tera dill nisaar hho ga!

tera dill nisaar kiyu hay?
tujhey mujh sey piyaar kiyu hay?

ghum_e aashiqi main barsoo.n main kharaab kar chuka hoon!
kai baar dill diya hay, kai baar ro chuka hoon!
terey ghum ko kiya karoo.n ab k ghumoo.n main kho chuka hoon
