Khaatir se terii yaad ko Talane nahii.n dete
sach hai ki hamii.n dil ko sa.nbhalane nahii.n dete

kis naaz se kahate hai.n vo jhu.njhalaa ke shab-e-vasl
tum to hame.n karavaT bhii badalane nahii.n dete

paravaano.n ne faanuus ko dekhaa to ye bole
kyo.n ham ko jalaate ho ki jalane nahii.n dete

hairaan huu.N kis tarah karuu.N arz-e-tamannaa
dushman ko to pahaluu se vo Talane nahii.n dete

dil vo hai ki fariyaad se lab_rez hai har vaqt
ham vo hai.n ki kuchh muu.Nh se nikalane nahii.n dete

garmii-e-mohabbat me.n vo hai aah se maane'
pankhaa nafas-e-sard kaa jhalane nahii.n dete
