خودداریوں کے خون کو ارزاں نہ کر سکے
ساحر لدهيانوى

خودداریوں کے خون کو ارزاں نہ کر سکے
ہم اپنے جوہروں کو نمایاں نہ کر سکے

ہو کر خرابِ مے ترے غم تو بھلا دیئے
لیکن غمِ حیات کا درماں نہ کر سکے

ٹوٹا طلسمِ عہدِ محبت کچھ اِس طرح
پھر آرزو کی شمع فروزاں نہ کر سکے

ہر شے قریب آ کے کشش اپنی کھو گئی
وہ بھی علاجِ شوقِ گریزاں نہ کر سکے

کس درجہ دل شکن تھے محبت کے حادثے
ہم زندگی میں پھر کوئی ارماں نہ کرسکے

مایوسیوں نے چھین لئے دل کے ولولے
وہ بھی نشاطِ روح کا ساماں نہ کر سکے
